Second Tuesday Drop-In Open Labs for 2007-2008

The GMPDC continues to open for “drop-in” sessions for teachers after school on the second Tuesday of every month, from after school to 5 PM. Want a chance to work for a couple of hours on something in the lab with someone on hand who can answer your technical questions? Want to practice using a data projector? Take the LoTi? Pick our brains? Drop in! If you have something particular that you want some help with, give us the heads up beforehand, but it’s not necessary.

The dates for the rest of the school year are: May 13 and June 10. Hope to see you here!

Collaborative Wikis

The GMPDC has started two new collaborative wiki spaces on-line for educators:

  • New Teacher Handbook: for pooling information about the profession of teaching, especially for people who are new to the field.
  • Tech-Help: for pooling information about technology that can be helpful to teachers.

The content of these wikis is dynamic and growing, and available to anyone on-line. To become a contributor to either, please sign up as a user on the wiki of your choice then contact the wiki administrator, Margo Burns, at mburns@mansd.org to ask to be added to the user group editing the wiki.
