Emergency Plans

It is every classroom teacher's responsibility to insure that complete lesson plans are available for the substitute prior to the beginning of the day on which you are absent. There may be occasions when you will not be present and regular lesson plans are not appropriate for a substitute to conduct, or there may be occasions when, due to an emergency, you will be unable to provide detailed lesson plans for a substitute.

To prepare for such circumstances, an emergency lesson plan folder should be available. These emergency plans should be an activity which anyone could present to the students and which is fairly simple to execute.
