Goals and Objectives

Goals are broadly worded guidelines that are helpful in planning a unit of study.

Objectives would be specific things that students would do as they worked towards that goal.

Example:

Goal: To evaluate the variety of Shakespeare’s character development in the play Hamlet.

Objective: Student will identify both dynamic and static characters in Act I of Hamlet.
