Stuart Robertson is a multiage teacher at Pelham Elementary School with 23 years experience. He received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Elementary Education and his Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in Computer Education from the University of Lowell. He also has a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Leadership and Instruction from Rivier College and a Doctor of Education degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
He loves his work in the classroom and is proud of the recognition he has received for it. He received the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching and the New Hampshire Excellence in Education Award as Outstanding Elementary Mathematics Teacher. Stuart has had the opportunity to speak at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) National Conventions in Indianapolis, San Diego, and Washington, D.C. He has also spoken twice at the Primary Elementary Teachers Association Multiage Symposium in Nova Scotia, Canada. He has provided teacher training in mathematics and science at schools in Georgia, New Jersey, New York, and Montreal. For the past three years he presented at the New England Educational Research Organization's annual conference. Another highlight of his professional career came when he had an article published by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics in their international journal Teaching Children Mathematics.
