OpenOffice is Open Source software that replicates the functionality of the various parts of the commercial software Microsoft Office. It does word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and more.

NeoOffice is a port of OpenOffice designed specifically to use the Mac OS X interface. OpenOffice can be installed on the Mac, but requires the installation of X11. NeoOffice does not require X11.
